DCC charity fund PDF Print E-mail

altWe dare saying that for many of DCC members it is important to have a strong social profile and be active in charity.

Some members have already got experience and clear strategy and could inspire others. Some would like to be active but at the moment perhaps lack a good plan and a project to focus on.

DCC initiates establishing a charity fund, which will aim at generating useful and effective charity activities. This fund will as well let our members be active and will create synergies between the projects and exchange of good ideas between the members.

The frames of the fund are as follows:

-      The fund is supported by the Danish Embassy, the Danish Ambassador Jørgen Molde is the official patron of the fund,

-      The fund is solely for members of DCC,

-      The annual donations are (from) 3000 Litas,

-      DCC and the Board of the fund make sure that the raised funds are used on concrete and useful activities instead of small effective less random donations,

-      The members are also invited to take part in the supported projects by donating their time and attention and in some cases funding, too. Though funding is usually not of main importance.

Plant a tree as our brand

DCC suggests a planted alive tree to become the brand of the fund and let it signal life and spiritual growth. It will remind of the fund and its partners and symbolize growing friendship, which only grows if you take care.

Therefore DCC charity fund will establish and oak alley in the Garden of Vilnius Citizen, where newly planted oaks will carry thename and the number of each donator to the DCC charity fund.

The fund will also mark the collaboration by planting fruit trees in the gardens of the institutions, school or other, which the fund will be working together with.

Welcome to your ideas

We are ready and open to listen to all interested members, who wish to be involved into charity through DCC. We welcome you to be a part of the umbrella fund, to find other companies with similar interests and discuss further ideas.

Are you interested?

You are welcome to contact us for further information and to declare your interest.
